APIVITA is a pioneering natural cosmetics company in Greece and was founded in 1979 by Nikos and Niki Koutsiana. The firm’s principles are inspired by the Greek bee society and the products it yields, as well as, on the rich Greek flora and the holistic approach of Hippocrates. The brand name “APIVITA” derives from the Latin word apis which means bee and vita which means life.

Via an international course of 35 years, the firm now presents THE APIVITA EXPERIENCE STORE and invites us all to discover a unique, personal experience that is bound to touch all of our senses. THE APIVITA EXPERIENCE STORE is housed in an imposing neoclassical building in Solonos street of Kolonaki district in Athens whose interior design bears the signature of architect Eirini Bourlou driven by the passion towards the Greek philosophy of the traditional Greek yard (Ground floor) which is always open to friends and is blooming with the scents and colours of plants characteristic to the Greek nature.

Within THE APIVITA EXPERIENCE STORE, the firm’s products play a protagonist role and are placed by category in steel structures of industrial style. The renowned Greek designer Yiorgos Eleftheriades has designed the staff uniforms which are of simple, elegant and functional style conveying APIVITA’s philosophy of inner and outer beauty.

On the 1^st floor we see the Natural Pharmacy where we can create our own personal cosmetics with the aid and guidance of specialized pharmacists. This is where we can also discover the APIGEA honey and the APIVITA FARM herbs and a variety of products based on the Greek bee society and the long related knowledge of Nikos Koutsianas. You may also visit the Juicy Bee Juice Bar serving many original, fresh, energy boosting and detoxifying suggestions for those seeking aid with regards to a healthy diet. Mrs Sophia Koutsiana, vice president of APIVITA, health coach and yoga teacher presents customers with an integrated and holistic health, beauty and detox proposal via the first -strictly organic- juice bar. There are also tables and comfortable benches where one can relax, read books from the library and exchange thoughts with others.

The 2^nd floor is devoted to knowledge: the Hippocrates hall promises to become a point of reference on the knowledge of Greek nature and the society of the Greek bee. A series of "green" themed presentations and discussions will be held and meals made of biological ingredients will be served.

The 3^rd floor hosts the Nature’s Ηair Studio & Barber Shop using state-of-the-art hair cosmetic products, biological hair dyes and offering hair treatments & services for both men and women.

The 4^th and last floor hosts the Beehive SPA, where the visitors will feel as if they have entered the interior of a true bee cell. The spa offers as many as 13 Hippocrates treatments which reflect the unique APIVITA experience and the beneficial effect of the precious bee products in the revitalization of the body and the spirit.
