The richness of the vineyards of North Greece play the protagonist role at the Wines & Spirits Fair titled "VorOina of Athens” which is organized by the wine producers “Wines of Northern Greece" and is to be held on the 3^rd.of February in Athens for the 10^th consecutive year. 

A wide and impressive selection of labels of domestic and foreign varieties which are cultivated at the famous vineyards of Northern Greece will be available to visitors for tasting.

White, rosé and red wines of new and older vintage, dry or sparkling, sweet as well as a variety of other spirits all constitute the most tempting suggestion for the wine commencement of the new year.

In the duration of the “VorOina of Athens” Wines & Spirits Fair the wine lovers will have the opportunity to meet the producers of their favorite wines, to get acquainted with emerging producers and discuss with them.

For the occasion of the 10^th anniversary of "The VorOina”, this year’s festival is going to be further enriched and the public will enjoy a string of parallel events scheduled for the week preceding the event (January 27^th - February 3^rd) in the "VorOina Week” where cooking lessons will be given by known chefs, offering wine lovers splendid ideas for combining with their favorite labels.    

During the "VorOina Week” a plethora of seminars are going to be carried out addressing, both, wine lovers and professionals. Known enologists and sommeliers will introduce us to the varieties of Northern Greece through extensive wine tasting sessions. At the same time, a selection of restaurants, bars, cafes and wine bars will particularly promote the wines of Northern Greece through enriched wine lists, conceptual nights and specially designed menus in order to contribute to the “VorOina” Wines & Spirits Fair and the 10^th anniversary celebrations.

The first date is arranged for the 3^rd of February at Hotel Grande Bretagne
