1. «Unforgettable Walks to take Before you Die» by Steve Watkins & Claire Jones (Orfeas Publications, 2008). This book discovers and describes the 30 most amazing walks in the world and illustrates them with a magnificent photographic material that covers from urban walks to demanding walks in the wilderness. 

2. « A Year in the World» by Frances Mayes (Broadway Publications, 2007). This book describes the enchanting voyages one may take while in Europe, addressing the architecture, the history, the landscapes and the traditional gastronomy. The contemporary female Phileas Fogg travels in five continents and pinpoints her personal experiences as far as history, sites, way of living, markets, local cuisines and hotels are concerned...ranging from cities such as London to the Patagonia, and from Perou to the French Polynesia.
