With a bicycle, you can relax, enjoy and discover the hidden areas of Trikala.

The unique hotel of Trikala, Ananti City Resort in collaboration with Trekking Hellas created this unique package for cycling enthusiasts, who can enjoy a memorable bicycle tour in the city of Trikala. The tour will start from the municipal market, where guests leave their car and will receive their bikes from the tour guide.

The tour starts along the River Litheos which offers countless picturesque spots and continues with a visit to the archaeological site of the Asclepion which embodies three buildings dating back to the Roman Era and one more from the Byzantine Era.

The bicycle tour continues with crossing over the metallic main bridge of Litheos River in the heart of Trikala, built by French engineers in 1886. This is the perfect spot from which one can admire the green banks of the river and the statue of Asclepios.

Next stop, the Koursoum Mosque which constitutes an impressive attraction and belongs to UNESCO’s Monuments of World Heritage. The group of bicycles then are headed to the picturesque neighborhoods of Varoussi and Manavika in Trikala’s old quarter and ended the ride at the town’s Fortress with its impressive trademark – the large clock. The fortress overlooks the entire city and this is where the municipal open theater is also located.
