Cocktails with a touch of Crete
On Monday, June 30th, our every sip will have a touch of Crete’s scent!
Cretan ingredients are used by the ‘appropriate’ hands in order to create unique cocktails! Nine of the best bartenders in Athens and Crete, set their most creative date in Rethymno Town and join the Cretan Diet Festival for a 3-hour long bartending show that will present international trends and techniques in using the best local ingredients.
The products and ingredients to be used for the show are offered by the Cretan Winemakers Network (Cretan wine), Agreco Farms (raki and myrtoraki alcoholic bevergaes), Lyrarakis Wines, the Women's Cooperative ERATO (jams, herbs, molasses), Dinapoja (syrups, liqueurs), ARKADI (lemon soda and refreshemnts) and Si Mel (honey).
The aim of this unique event which is held for the first time in Crete, is to spread the use of Cretan products in the cocktail making business that constitutes an international trend. The event will be held at the Public Garden of Rethymno on Monday, June 30th from 21:00 until 24:00 and each of the participating bartenders will present their detailed recipe to the audience.
The show will be joined by dj Mezzo IR, George Alexx and ALEFU-RA that will cover the music part of the shown in the most uplifting way!
