The known slogan “Le Beaujolais nouveau est arrive” will signal the beginning of the wine festival in Rhodes island this year. The new bottles of Beaujolais wine are now available!

In Paris people are cheering “Le Beaujolais nouveau est arrive”!  to initiate the commencement of wine festivals worldwide with the new Beaujolais vintage of red wine travelling to every corner of the planet.

This constitutes a custom since the beginning of the 20^th century which encountered a great amount of popularity due to the fact that the area of Beaujolais in France was the main distributor of reasonably priced red wine to the bistros of Paris.

This Saturday, a special wine festival is being held in the island of Rhodes which shouldn’t be missed by the wine lovers who might find themselves on or near the island that day. The festival is expected to attract its usual crowd from the Dodecanese islands too. 

The venue is none other but the “French House of Rhodes” at the heart of the medieval Old Town. The date is set for Saturday November 24^th from 20:30 onwards.
