The Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Rhodes (P.O.D.R) organizes an exhibition of the Order of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem (Sovrano Oridne Dei Cavallieri di San Giovanni di Jerusaleme): Monks, Knights, Grand Masters.

The history of the Order through its protagonists

SUBJECT:

An exhibition of Historical Reconstructions in human-like dolls with their jewelry, costumes and various objects used by the Knights, trophies, badges etc.

DEPICTIONS:

13 human-like dolls including 10 men, 2 women and 1 baby.

The exhibition constitutes a historical tour which will charm the visitors and will convey them to the world of the Knights via significant historical events that occurred on the island of Rhodes.

The 13 figures portrayed at the exhibition, have played a key role in the history of the Town of Rhodes and they were selected according to their actions and their personality during a 7 century long period between 1084 to 1798.
