Renewed impetus for the Open Theater of Mani
An exceptionally interesting event was hosted a few days ago by the Municipality of Western Mani.
The event was held in order to address the upcoming start of the operations of the Open Theater of the area, as well as, the genre of the performances to be selected and hosted. The event was actually an open discussion about the event's agenda and, among other activities, it included a visit to the Theater which is located at the area of Kampinari Platsas. The event attracted the interest of many people from the sectors of Culture and Civilization and actress Lidia Koniordou recited poetic lyrics.
It is notable to say that the artistic director of the Athens Megaron Concert Hall, Mr. Giorgos Kouroupos, was also present at the event and he actually quoted that “the Open Theater of Mani is characterized by high aesthetics and is worthy of hosting equally significant cultural events".
