Like a fairytale: The stone bridges of Epirus

A trademark in the villages of Zagorohoria, the traditional stone arch bridges are unique examples of architecture and folk wisdom, as well as an integral part of the region. They are dating from the 18th century and they are 60 in number!

Do not miss to visit Missios bridge near Vitsa village, built in 1748, Kokkorou or Noutsou bridge, near Kipoi, Koukouli and Dilofo village in the Central Zagori, built in 1750, Kalogeriko, on your way to Central Zagori from Kipi, built in 1814, Pitsioni bridge, on the outskirts of Kipoi village to Negades, built in 1748, Kamper Aga bridge, near Miliotades and Klidonia or Voidomatis bridge, in Klidonia, at the end of Vikos gorge, built in 1853.
