The thousands shades of the forest, the intoxicating scents of the numerous healing herbs, the crystal clear air, the mansions with traditional architecture, the legendary train of Moutzouris, the breathtaking view of Pagasitikos. At the village of Milies everything exudes the feeling of the authentic Pelio.

With an altitude of 250-450 meters, Milies is one of the most picturesque villages of the legendary mountain that is ideal for a getaway full of natural beauty and history. The village is homeland of prominent persons-teachers of the Greek people, such as Anthimos Gazis, Gregory Konstantas and Daniel Filippides and played an important role during the revolution of 1821. Here we travel in Greece's history, discovering the famous "School of Milies" where today houses the high school of the village, the Folklore Museum with a rich collection in the central square, Evdoxeio Cultural Centre and the library. In the central square, we also admire the Church of the Archangels, with the beautiful bell tower.

The uphill path next to the Library building, leads us to the church of St. Nicholas, overlooking Pagasitikos, the south Pelion and the mansions of the village.
